Casa Wasaga, your home away from home

A Warm and Inviting Experience

If you are looking for warm and friendly hospitality during your visit to Wasaga Beach, Casa Wasaga is the place you can call your home away from home. Casa Wasaga may not look like a traditional B&B, but we have outfitted it with modern features and amenities to make your travels exceptionally comfortable, relaxing, and fulfilling. Launched in April 2015 by Sestina and Dario Maccari, Casa Wasaga offers two accommodation options situated in a separate section of the home, both of which offer private, keyed access.

And after you’ve settled in, Sestina and Dario will invite you for a welcome cocktail or beverage and snack served in your room, in the dining area, or in the backyard.

A Well-Appointed Room and Family-Size Suite

THE ROMA SUITE can sleep up to five people and features an open concept living room and dining area with partial kitchen facilities and an enclosed bedroom with ensuite.

THE CALABRIA ROOM can sleep up to two people (plus one small child) and includes the same amenities you’d find in a large hotel room, including a refreshment station, a spacious 4-piece bathroom, hallway, and closet.

Amenities Galore

When you book your stay with us, we want to make sure that you have everything you need to feel right at home. Enjoy high speed Internet, free local and long distance calling, unlimited coffee and tea (in-room/suite stations), 24-hour snacks, cable TV, a pool with deck, a beautifully landscaped backyard, and so much more. Bring your pets because they’re family too.

Neighbourhood Charm

Casa Wasaga is located in the town’s west end, near Mosley Street and 45th Street, in a quiet and friendly residential neighbourhood. Enjoy a coffee out front and look towards the Carly Patterson Trail for the occassional family of deer that walk through it. Better yet, leash up the pooch and walk the 1.5 kilometre trail as you soak up the fresh air. A small, enclosed park is just a short walk around the corner — your kids will love it!

Need supplies? A 15-minute walk (or 3-minute drive) will take you to the corner of Mosley and 45th, the west end’s shopping hub which includes the Real Canadian Superstore, Canadian Tire, Starbucks, St. Louis Bar & Grill, LCBO, Shopper’s Drug Mart, Tim Hortons, and a variety of independent businesses.

Breakfast of Champions

Every morning, we serve up continental selections (including gluten-free cereal, bread, and lactose-free milk upon request) and a selection of hot, gourmet breakfasts. Let’s face it, a B&B owned by Italians will guarantee you and your family are well fed. Visit the breakfast page for more information.

Getting Around: Plenty to See and Do

Beach Area 6 is less than a 5-minute drive right down 45th street but if you prefer not to drive and save on parking, we’ll be glad to drop you off and pick you up. Heading to Collingwood or Blue Mountain? A 15-minute drive will get you into the downtown core. A 10-minute drive the other way gets you to the main drag. Need some ideas on fun during your stay? See the Visitor Guide for links to suggested events, dining and shopping, tourist info, local attractions, and other places to visit in the area.
