Meet Your Host — Sestina Maccari
Thank you for visiting our website. It has been a dream of mine to open a bed and breakfast so finally, after a long career in the service industry, I have made it a reality. My husband and I have been long-time vacationers-turned-residents of Wasaga Beach, first visiting here back in 1977. As soon as I saw the beach, it reminded me of my birthplace, Ciro Marina, a resort town in the region of Calabria in Southern Italy.
A year later we began vacationing to Wasaga Beach almost every weekend, raising our two boys to appreciate the natural beauty, tranquility, and the incredible sunsets of the world’s longest freshwater beach. Now, we want to share our home with you the next time you visit. We have spent the better part of six months preparing Casa Wasaga to be your “home away from home,” enjoying the comfort, privacy, and hospitality that one would expect from a bed and breakfast accommodation.
Breakfasts have always been special to me. I remember those early mornings at our cottage on 65th street very well, the sounds of nature just outside the window while I prepared eggs, bacon, sausage, and hash browns for my family. It is something I can’t wait to do again for you and your family.
By the way, if you have a special request or need help with anything, please don’t be shy because I’m here to make your stay as convenient, fun, and entertaining as possible. Relax by the pool, enjoy a drink under the pergola, share some great conversation, go for a nature walk, have some laughs around the bonfire… it’s all here at Casa Wasaga. I love it here and I know you and your family (and your pet!) will as well.
I look forward to meeting you soon and can’t wait to make your next trip to Wasaga Beach unforgettable.
